Jarek Kruczek

Born in 1995 in Limanowa. A choreographer and dancer, he graduated from XXX Artistic High School in Krakow and completed his bachelor’s studies at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam in 2018, one of the top dance schools in the world. Currently, he works as a freelancer in many European countries, primarily in Norway, the Netherlands, and Poland.

In Poland, he has collaborated with the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow and the Pieśń Kozła Theatre in Wrocław. Outside of Poland, he has worked on projects with the Scapino Dance Company in Rotterdam, the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam, Orkater Theatre in Amsterdam, House of Makers in Amsterdam, De Nederlandse Reisopera in Enschede, the Norwegian National Opera in Oslo, Theatre Basel in Switzerland, Salzburg Festspiele in Austria, and many others.

He has trained under the guidance of teachers such as: Ivan Perez, Julio Cesar Inglesias Ungo (Ultima Vez), Heidi Vierthaler (Forsythe Company), Igor Podsiadly and Camilo Chapela (both from Club Guy & Roni), Vivianne Rodrigues de Brito, Lyat Waysbort and Yaniv Abraham as well as Ohad Naharin (Batsheva Dance Company), Witold Jurewicz, Eryk Makohon (Cracow Dance Theater), Jesus de Vega and Vincent Colomes (both from ICK Amsterdam), Valentina Campora, Guy Nader and Maria Campora (GN/MC), Loïc Perela (Scapino Ballet), Gyula Berger (Zero Ballet), Heather Ware (Leine & Roebana), Anita Podkowa (Witkacy Theatre), Roser Espinoza Lopez, Chloe Beillevaire…

He conducts dance workshops in Polish or English for children and adults at art camps or in stationary dance schools. He constantly refines his dance technique and teaching methods through various courses, mainly outside of Poland.
